Kempty Falls –

The Kempty falls is sitated on the hilly tracks of Uttarakhand. And must visited places when you are in Mussoorie. It is one of the best tourist destinations in Mussoorie and situated at an altitude of 4,500 ft. and it falls from a height of around 40 ft. from the mountains.

Due to its panoramic surroundings and views, the place was established as a tourist destination by a British officer John Mekinan in 1835. The name of the place is derived from Camp-Tea, the place where Britishers use to organize tea parties during their ruling period.

It is around 13 Km from Mussoorie on the Chakrata road and around 45 km from Dehradun.
